R.I.P. Steve Irwin?

Ok, so as everyone has probably heard, Steve Irwin (aka the croc. hunter) has passed away due to a sting by a sting ray. It's sad, I know. But how is it that people are saying RIP Steve Irwin, and saying nothing of the four soldiers killed in Afghanistan? What is the world coming to when people feel worse about losing a man that pokes dangerous

Steve irwin dedicated his life to saving and perserving wildlife and educating others on it, he actually stated that if he died from his work, he went doing what he loved, and he hoped they were filming when it happened, which, they were. I'm not saying fuck the soldiers, i'm just stating, give credit where it is due.

Terrible stuff happens everyday to countless ppl and we can't focus on all of it, ppl often latch on to familiar faces easier than a few unamed. The whole world needs a reality check, but not by mourning steve irwin...

R.I.P. for all those fallen that we hear about, and all those that we don't.

I, by no means, meant the his death was insignificant, the post was done in frustration... I mean anyone could read my post and say, yeah, four soldiers died, but what about the countless children dying all across the world due to starvation and war. It's all about perspective and what a person relates to.
