One of my former co-workers is trying to get his own networking site off the ground; it's got some nice features but needs more people. One of the things he's trying to do to get people to try out his site is hosting a blogging contest. Character Study
One of the positive things that has come from gaining some experience with role-playing is a sense of attention to detail when it comes to defining a character. I realized that was one of my weakest points, and I'm embarrassed to read over my old stories and see how shallow and undeveloped all the characters were. Doing without
Tommy and I watched a documentary on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. last night until 2am. Although he's obviously famous for his civil rights work, his later focus was on poverty and militarism, two of the other things he saw as the major problems in society other than racism. I always thought this show deserved at least 3 or 4 seasons. It's really a shame that it got cancelled after 2. It was much better than the weekday Sonic series. Robotnik was actually pretty scary in this one, as opposed ( Read more... ) -

The Papyrus font is SO over. Remember when the Sand font came included in Apple computers, and everybody started using it on EVERYTHING? You know which one I mean.
