My dad and sister went out to buy something for her XBox today, and when they got back, my sister informed me that she had had a very interesting talk with my father . . . apparently, he finds both my sister and I rather spoiled. sometimes i suspect that it takes more than one person to be able to take the final step out of being a kid. i know i feel like a child the minute i even see my parents, and the funny thing is i didn't realize that that's probably not . . . well, valid until pretty recently. i don't think i'm going to feel totally adult around them until they come to _my house. maybe not even then.
the problem with family, though, is that everything's so complex emotionally that it's hard to make any changes, and some things are best just left alone. i find myself changing my mind with every perspective i look at, and unfortunately the real world is going to force some decisions before long.
