I do not agree with this. One of the moral problems we have currently, is our inability to express ourselves without a weapon. The first resort to being intruded upon by the police should not be to open fire. I understand that in the confusion, you might be scared or startled and think it's a home invasion. Honestly, it shouldn't take very long at all to discover that things are not quite that way. Home invasions aren't usually that well organized or equipped. How many home invaders have you heard about that use full SWAT gear

I disagree with the first part of that. Very strenuously. I have a right to be safe in my home. That right includes safety from anyone that has invaded my home in a criminal fashion - which is what the police in this case did.
