There's no way we can stop what we've become. And by that, I mean, there is no way we can break the system. It's too strong and it's roots are bound tightly under the new world they have created. Everything they have built will keep growing and despite out efforts, nothing will stop. We're a part of it. Even if we don't want to admit it or we don't ( Read more... )

Why is it that those who are bound so tightly to the system rage against it so fervently ( ... )

Um... ouch. I was actually just writing what was in my head... maybe a poetry of sorts. And maybe, I didn't word it properly. I see what you are saying in alot of ways. Totally. Even native americans had a sort of system to the way things work. Every society has had one and each one evolved, right? And this is what we have now. Only I see as ours as a little different. A little more... tained? I don't know.

I think about how my friends Mark and Wendy live on this little place in the middle of nowhere. It's a health farm of sorts. No one pays to stay there. They just work. They grow their own food, make everything themselves, and offer weekends to people to get away. They are a part of the system, but in a way, in a way, they've sort of moved back from it... at least that's the way I see it, which makes me smile. I guessI think of them and their communities independance. You'll probably counter this one with ease. You're a clever guy. Extremely. *bows*

Brain not functioning.... um, yes.

Thats the kind of symbiosis im alluding to. Being of society with all its benefits but without creating dissonance within the society finding a balance within the ecosytem of our own creation. If everyone were to strive for balance between their own desires and the needs of society the most social systems would work but greed and self interest are infectious and have created an apathy of self and an apathy of society as a whole an enviroment in which certain personality types thrive and create more dissonance and self perpetuating the generation of more of the same. All we can hope for is the downfall of societies structures and hope that the next itteration is better and insure that we and our ideals survive into that next itteration ( ... )
