So this is near the second week of actual classes here and as a freshman I can honestly say yes, I feel like a freshman. I know 3 people by name and one is my room mate (excluding professors). I have been good about keeping my weird wolfness to myself, as this place seems oddly hostile towards new ideas for a college

awwwr~ :/ I'd say go looking for excitement, because it isn't going to be follow you around.

And yea, I've kinda found that with UNR too. Places may SAY they're open to the avant-garde but it's the same old consumers in bug-eyed sunglasses, stoner punks and prepetually hammered frat boys. Except in some of the art/theater areas. You might wanna check those out.

Although the people are a lot NICER (or at least more polite) than high school (public at least. Dunno what yours was like), so feel free to at least wear a collar if you want. ^_~
