See, i have no problem fucking the government every chance i get. i dont care for it, i dont care for its constituents, and if i had my way i would keep every goddam dime i make and give them nothing.

but then again, i'm a terrible, selfish bastard.

amen to that.

vote libertarian! shrink the government, legalize everything, privatize social security and make people be responsible for themselves (for once)...

just my 2-cents

see, i can't believe that people can take care of ourselves, and well, the most constructive thing i can think of to do as a species is help each other out, because we're too stupid to be independent and make it.
and, if we don't use our time which becomes work which becomes money to help each other in some way, we instead use it to buy and make more useless crap and exploit and hurt each other.
so, the best use i can think of for something as naturally silly as green silky papers that rule the world is medical care, public schools, libraries, and soup kitchens.

of course! being a libertarian doesn't mean that you don't give to charity. It means that you do with your money what you like and the government doesn't do it (very poorly and with much of it going into politicians pockets) for you.

I also think the government should pay for things like health-care, though... I guess I haven't totally reconciled my ideals, yet.

kinda drunk, so bare (or is it bear?) with me... librakaos July 28 2006, 06:59:15 UTC
it's the only movie that I thought actually maximized Keanu Reeves strengths (basically just the really dry/dead-pan sense of humor) and minimized the weaknesses... for whatever that's worth. I saw it sober and liked it a lot. I bet high I would have loved it to death. Rotoscopy has that effect...

Anyways. So I graduated in March (yay) and I'm in LA trying to make it as a Sound Engineer (guess all that school was kind of pointless... well, maybe only slightly). What I'm getting at is, if you should find yourself in LA county anytime it would be nice to say hi. I haven't seen you in like 3 or 4 years, but I still think you're neat. We should hang out and smoke some weed, or just hang out or whatever. I sincerely hope you're enjoying life and the "college experience"...
