Besides the two you show, I rather prefer the classical lines of CT to Balenciaga's slightly confused collections (on their site).

Oh and on Thursday you can be wearing this while you stand on street corners and flash small boys.

Or not...

He is getting a bit theatrical lately...especially with the space trooper uniforms. What the heck is up with that? Do I really need that much reflective fabric while I'm out riding my haute couture bicycle?

Oh...did you get a chance to look at the Spring 2006 collection? YAR MATEY! ...I kept expecting to see Kristy McNichol in there somewhere.

So not the same jacket...the tailoring on that "vest" is just poorly done. Or, she's such a bag of bones that she's actually too skinny for clothes to hang right on her. That's quite a feat.

It is a "rat pelt" though...or actually Nutria.

In my mind I only wear fur when in Russia or north of the 50 degrees latitude.

WHEE! I am so glad someone else took me up on this. I was afraid I'd be the only LJer wearing imaginary couture... :D

I am always wearing imaginary couture, and fall is my favorite season. When the September Vogue is published, I sleep with it under my pillow for a few days.
