The cut in
We started cutting in this morning. We hope to be finished painting this evening. I spent part of the day gathering furniture for the room. I found a orange swivel chair on craigslist. I'll probably be sewing a barkcloth slipcover for it. Mom drove my grandmother's mid-century blond oak desk down today. Thanks Mom! It's

GREAT choice on the color. I love it with the white trim and wood floors. Great combination.

Thanks! I was struggling trying to find a stimulating color that would integrate with the gray/green that is in the rest of the house. I'm trying to maintain similar color from room to room so the little house seems a little bigger.

I really like the Devine Color palette. I figured out that my kitchen is "Devine Moss" based on the leftover paint cans in the garage, so I went down to the paint store and looked for the green that was near the same value with less gray. It's a special palette that they'll only have until spring, apparently. So, now I'm contemplating buying up more of it before spring.
