I'd bring the cream in there, of the clotted variety, and some more white, too.

I am loving the color, though. That chair is pretty pimp, too.

What about one of those round spiraly rugs in a brown/tan/camel/sand/olive color scheme? That seems like it would look awesome on the hardwood.

I love those braided cotton/wool rugs. I've been wanting one for the house. They totally remind me of my grandma's house.

I actually think I'm going to do a heathered chocolate/gray. So, it will read as a sort of natural or taupe color, but a little grayer. The color really is bright. It's really hard to capture it in a photo. But right now, it gives me a headache if I just sit in there and look at it. It's beautiful, but it needs something to put it in context.

It's more like the color of yellow chartreuse (the sister liquer of the neon green variety), or a really bright pear. It's really bright with the sun coming through the windows. Today is the first gray day we've had since we painted, and it's not quite as bright, which is good.
