I'm completely fascinated by this establishment on SE 41st and Raymond called the Busy Corner Grocery. It's basically a cafe, with an old grocery cold case from the fifties, table of produce and a couple of bookshelves with some dry goods. i keep coming back to this post - this place is what i want to be doing. i just need to get out of my snakebit location and open in a proper neighborhood, instead of on the fringes of a disney attraction.

I wish a lot more people would do this. Having worked food service, the last thing I want to do at a restaurant is be served by a "server". I like it real, and I like all the people I interact with to be real.

You should come to Lents.
