Well, on Monday, I bought a new car. It's a 2004 VW GTI 1.8 turbo. It is black with Gry leather, 8 speaker "Monsoon" sound system, moon-roof, seat warmers, 17" rims, and some other bells and whistles. I got a good deal on it, and a really low interest rate, so I couldn't pass it up. Plus, I was about to have to put a new tank of gas in my truck ( Read more... )

going to be up north at the Mitch Headberg show, so it all depends on what state I'm in after the show. Plus, I'm still trying to talk Diane into going to the 80's party, so I don't know if I will even make it out there. I'll let you know.

that car seem so un-you... I am so use to the big red truck. But I really like VW's... now you can zip around town... As soon as I get a job I am getting a new car (Probably a Civic Si)

people keep saying that the car doesn't seem like me, etc, but I feel like it is more me than that truck ever was. I like it more, anyway. I'm just waiting to see if someone actually buys that truck from the dealership...those mofos actually gave me $2500 for a truck that needs about $3k worth of repairs. SUCKAS!

I have some car freak friends, one of which said last night that supposedly the turbos VW is putting out are some of the fastest stock engines around. The jetta turbo is supposed to be the top.

Have fun, save the money you used to spend on cigarettes for speeding tickets.
