what would be the most annoying thing to hear as a ringer on a cell phone? Like what would make you say God Damn it! what a jack ass!? if it went off in class (besides the fact that it went off in class)? Be creative, the winner will get their suggestion put on my phone.

1.My Humps by the Black Eyed Peas.

2.Hi My Name Is by Eminem

3.Yeah by Usher feat. Little John

Note that these should all be MP3 ringtones if possible.

truth be told, I heard it just yesterday at Pepboys. this gray-haired trucker s.o.b. (in full flannel, torn-ass jeans, and oversized, see-through blue-plastic-net, "one-size-fits-all" hat) comes in to get his shit-pickup repaired when, all of a sudden, his pocket starts piping that damn presidential 'electioneering; song, the name of which I don't presently recall (you know, the one they play during "Value City Furniture's President's Day Sale" commercials back in the LOU). from inside our 13-bay service garage (even with the deafening din of so many mechanical noises), people in the parking lot could've surely heard his staticky-ass ring tone. and, to top it all off, he answered the thing in mid-correspondance with one of the service representatives, belting a "Hello!" nearly ten decibels louder than necessary (like those individuals who've never quite grown accustomed to the voice-volume discrepancy when speaking to someone whilst bewildered by the subduing headphones of a good ole Walkman). needless to say, he didn't seem to be ( ... )

I do know which song you are talking about. If you find the name of it let me know, I think we will have a winner.
I have had that Value City Furniture jingle in my head all day now by the way.... "something something something (home center, I think?) ... Saving you more!"

I had another idea, what about the Imperial March from Star Wars?

Or, like the last most intense verses of My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion.

When my annoyance has a name, I'll be sure to let you know. euphoriafish March 20 2006, 06:58:15 UTC
This would win if you could hear it, but sadly I don't have the name of the band. There's some reggae/hiphoppy group that the hip hop clique at Temple University Japan just *loves,* and the song they play all the time basically consists of the vocalist singing in descending tones, "RING ding ding ding *d-d-DING d-DING*, RING ding ding ding *d-d-DING d-DING*, DO----NG, Ring ding ding DO-----NG" (whole quote twice, and then whatever the annoying verses were ( ... )

I think having Six Pence None the Richer would win the contest of songs that would make me feel most awkward if they came from my phone. I am curious about this "RING ding ding ding *d-d-DING d-DING*, RING ding ding ding *d-d-DING d-DING*, DO----NG, Ring ding ding DO-----NG" song let me know if you find the name of it.

That Aerosmith song from the movie Armageddon. What the hell was the name? "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing"?

the thought of the phrase, "I don't want to close my eyes, caus' I miss you girl, and I don't wanna miss a thang..." coming from my phone makes me laugh.
