It always pains me to see a group dead like this. This kind of group especially. Is anyone still here? Why have we all drifted away? Were we finally beaten and shamed into submission by trolls, and pop-culture, doubt and fashion and apathy ( Read more... )

I'm wondering if people who were so "in to" this group years ago have changed their view of themselves or others. I just logged back into LJ after 2 years or more of being away (Twittering, blogging in Wordpress, working, living etc.) and saw your post.

I'm not a psyvamp, but I'm still open to psi and I am an energy worker more or less. 36 yo last Friday, married, working, baby on the way.

I do wonder where the young people are going these days to ask these questions. I'd check if there are related facebook groups, but most people use their real name on FB so there isn't the safety of (almost) anonymity but I'm sure they're there somewhere.

Maybe people can head over to http://www.inspiredbydarkness.com/ and maybe I can start up a nice little hangout there.
