i was just walking through the living room in the dark, on my way back from a glass of water, when i stepped on something cylindrical, cool, and sticky on the rug.
i turned on the light, hopping on one foot.
i had stepped on a cat turd.

why?

the litter box is in good shape. is my cat so old that he is taking craps randomly? or was this a first class

Here I thought it was gonna be one of MY favorites, a slug. Granted, they're usually outside, but once in awhile one makes its way in. Neither a slug or a cat turd are fun to step on in your bare feet.
