northern new mexico is beautiful and all, but i am ready to get the hell out. at this teachers' conference, i have to make pleasant small talk every time i turn around. there is always someone new to talk to or some assignment from the facilitators to do. and the roommate of my fellow LR teacher just keeps on working to get close to me or talk to
