I can't draw any more. Some idiot left a loose plank in the flooring of the house when I went to go and check on the building work and i fell and jarred my wrist. I can just about manage the quill in my other hand to write this, but drawing is out of the question. How am I supposed to get any work done now?

Sounds dreadful. Have you been seen to by a doctor yet? They might be able to do something to help.

And in the meantime, you could always hire an assistant to draw and take notes for you.

An assistant would hardly be able to commit my ideas to paper with any accuracy. I have to do it myself or it's no good at all.

I haven't seen a doctor yet, I just have some cold water on it.

Mizuki, while it may not be quite up to your particular standards, if you form a good partnership with your assistant they'll be able to help you with all sorts of tasks and give accurate enough drawings to everyone who needs them. You can always make the necessary subtle corrections once you're better.

Is there swelling or discolouration? If you're not sure you can find a suitable doctor before the clinics close, you can always join me for dinner at my parents house. My father could take a look at your wrist.

But that kind of thing takes time, and I don't have the patience to try and coach some newbie up to standards and besides, it'll cost too much.

It's a little swollen and it hurts to bend it.
