Well today seems interesting? Everyone seems to be heading to the colliseaum, and the market's got a strange energy to it for some reason. I can't tell if people are nervous or excited. At any rate, several dropped crates of oranges is going to put a dent in my profit and my sister in a bad mood.

I finally feel like I'm settling in here; now that i've met more than a few people. And I have to begrudgingly say, you're not a bad lot on the whole. Even with all the poking and the water and the awkward and the flirting. Even if Yamato still refuses to see me. I don't know what to do about that.

Where has the time gone to? It's just flying by; work's getting busier and busier, and I am sick to the back teeth at the sight and smell of nectarines.  This last couple of weeks... I'm exhausted.

One nice thing happened though, and I have a new pet. Or toy, really, as it's only a mechanical thing. It's a little grey mouse toy I bought from an inventor and it's really quite charming.

 So I had to say goodbye to my fish. It wasn't doing very well after everything I tried; only eating intermittently and it was starting to look very dull and listless. It's a relief not to have to haul water for it every morning now, but still... my garden feels very empty now and there's nothing to go and see when i come home either.
