Im taking your point about the percussionists into account mate. Half the problem is now the guys are there I'd find it hard to tell em to fuck off in any shape or form as they are lovely people. And they do look the part. In due course I think we might vary the line up more according to the size of the gig. I think 3 on that small stage certainly a bit much. But on the big stage at corp it made more sense.

Yeah, that is a problem. But varying the line up is probably a very good idea. Like you say, reserving the full lineup for a bigger stage would probably work much better!
