Home is where the heart is, my friend, and if you heart just ain't into Novato no mo', then maybe it's not your home. Ok, enough of sounding like the wise, yet yokle friend....
My dad was talking to me the other day about how when kids visit the rents house during their first year, they go home. When they do it the second year, they're going to their parents house. I definitely felt a little bit of that this time around, and it kinda sounds like you are, too. And i know it's tough to find a home, especially in your recent fluctuating environment, so maybe it's best to say you're on vacation for a while. And we all know how much fun vacations can be! ;)

It helps to know that other people and friends are feeling the same way that we are. The thing about going to the "parent's house" feels more true this year. I didn't used to refer to my dorm at LC as home, but I've caught myself calling Portland "home." Funny- I think I've been refering to both Novato and Portland as home. Which one is home? Can both be home? So yeah, helpful to know others going through the same, and yet in a way, our own condition is always entirely unique and no one is going through quite the same thing as we are. That isn't meant to be negative, just a thought.
As a wise Warthog once said, "Home is where your rump rests." In other words, home is where you make it, and your familia is the friends that you aquire in said location. Don't worry kidlet, you're a youngin'. You'll find where you belong when you least expect it. You'll look around one day, and see that you are home.
