You go girl...ok, that was so early 90's, but it was an accurate statement as to how i feel. I hope I've never come across like someone who couldn't understand your motives, because I always knew that in the back of your mind you had this dream to achieve an new sense of yourself, and that this just may be the place for you to do it. And I say go for it.

As you well know, I too have entered into a whole new world, one that was greatly questioned by some of my friends (and some of those friends still dig me for it). But it has been one of the most fulfilling experiences ever, one that is making more aware of who I am and who I want to be.

So i say go for it, Katie/Caitlin/KT/Better half of Stankidd. Cuz you deserve nothing less than fabulous.

Thank you for your enduring support Niksters. I hope I don't come across as being unsupportive of the sorority thing. You're showing me that sorority women can be pretty cool and I'd like to think that I'll show people that normal women can go to women's colleges- it has nothing to do with disliking men or wanting to get away from them, it just has to do with wanting to try out another form of education.

All the best at Smith. I too have sometimes wondered what it would be like if the female perspective drove the class discussion.

If you do take Neuroscience and Brain States(there's a class on that? WOW!) then we will have so very, very much to talk about. The mind is all I ever want to study.

Doesn't that class sound awesome? Hopefully it's still being offered... I was just flipping through Smith's catalogue and there's another one called "Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy and Hermeneutics." You SO want to go to Smith. It's actually part of the study abroad program, but still.
