Kate had wandered into the pub and was feeling her oats a bit. Despite her talk with Mia over people there, she wanted to have some fun and didn't think too far ahead before jumping into the rowdy corner. Some of the guys were being a little too friendly but not grabby so compared to some of what she'd been in? Nothing at all. She was giggling, leaning on the table. One of the guys was trying to nudge her more against the wall but so wasn't moving. Inside, she stepped backwards and tried to get on his other side, but found herself blocked by a couple of the others.

"Oh, um, here, let me through..." She really wasn't alarmed until she realized they were purposely blocking her way. And that was probably five minutes too late to realize she was in trouble.

Kevin had been keeping an eye on the vampires in the corner. A couple others sat at the bar, ignoring them. He'd been talking to one of them, when Kate wandered in. He almost rolled his eyes and just kept an eye on her. She needed to learn that there were certain dumb things that had consequences.

When they pinned her, though, Kevin came out from behind the bar. He tapped two of the vampires on shoulders and pushed his way through the crowd. He may be the bouncer, but he wasn't stupid.

"Let 'er go, guys. Ya don't want no trouble here." Kevin growled, watching the vampires trying to push Kate back amongst them a bit more. "Rules are ya behave yaself in here, an' everyone's happy. Now, let the girl go, an' set yaselves down, an' have a drink."

She'd been trying, completely ineffectively, to push herself through the guys crowded around her, which meant she didn't see Kevin.

She did hear him however and shoved her way passed someone who stepped in front of her, blocking her way to Kevin. She slipped behind him, peeking around him to glare at the vampires. "Thanks Kevin." She was grateful, and it showed.

Kevin just put his arm behind him, holding her against his back. "Stay put." He ordered her, over his shoulder, in a whisper.

He turned his full attention to the vampires. "Have a seat, an' we'll make sure ya get some drinks."

One of the vampires stepped forward and grinned, showing fangs. "We wouldn't hurt the little girl. Just looking for some fun."

Kevin stepped up. "The fun in here is on my terms." He snarled. "Don't be thinkin' any different." He warned the man. "Now sit ya ass down, an' have a drink. This don't gotta be nothin'." He growled, allowing some of his own power to slip through.

The vampire wasn't stupid. He held up his hands and backed down, going to sit down with his friends.

Kevin backed off, pushing Kate behind him. He looked at the vampire. "Harry handle the bar." The man nodded, and Kevin turned, grabbing Kate's arm. "Come with me." He growled.

Kate had made it back to her room before she started crying hard, upset, scared, and hurt. She's curled up on her bed, hugging her teddy bear and cried, upset and scared and hurt. After she'd gotten over her crying spell, she'd taken a shower and sulking in her room until she didn't look like she'd been crying anymore. Then she'd changed her clothes, ran a brush through her hair and headed back to the pub. Not that she really felt like eating, she was tired and had a headache, but to prove she wasn't pouting, although she was gone for almost two hours.

She didn't bounce into the pub though, and was over all sedated. Still, he parked it in a seat near Kevin, waiting on him rather than calling out to him.

Rissa walked straight past the now-subdued vampires, ignoring their comments. She slid onto a bar stool, her skirt swirling around her ankles. Her hair was still damp, and she flipped it back over her bare shoulder.

"Evening Carlotta." She said, smiling. She eyed the strawberry shake that was put in front of Kate. "Can I get a strawberry-blueberry shake?" She asked, getting a quick grin.

"He..." She stopped. "Kate? Are you alright?" Rissa asked gently.

One of the servers placed her milkshake down. Ouch. Was Kevin ignoring her? She frowned a little but took it.

"Miss Rissa? Hi. Yeah, I'm ok I guess. How are you?"

Rissa raised an eyebrow, leaning one elbow on the bar. She braced her chin on her hand and watched the teenager.

Kevin looked to be making himself busy. Something had happened. She knew that look.

"I'm quite well, dear." Rissa winked at Carlotta, picking up her shake. "Are you sure nothing is wrong? You look... disgruntled."
