And for the first two days the Chinook wind did move in,
then it went to minus 30C.

I spent a week in Alberta visiting friends and family.
There are some beautiful places out there and some awefuly bleak ones too.
It was great seeing people and catching up.
There is no single malt left, sorry about that.

That big rock is called "OKOTOKS" in the local Blackfoot language and translates into "Big Rock"

It's near the town of Okotoks, outside Calgary http://www.okotoks.ca/

and is the largest of a string of Glacial erratics deposited during the last ice age.

Paul - I'm dissapointed that you didn't get a shot of drinking big rock in front of the big rock.

Also this - I lived for four years in that area, why have I never gone to see the big rock?

Also this - that red barn looks like it's just east of Claresholm - am I correct? If so, I drove by it pretty much daily for those four years.
