Here you don't need a security clearance to work in goverment, just a criminal convictions check. So, provided you haven't broken the law, no problems. If you need a security clearance it would be unlikely to be an issue, as far as I know.

I agree.

While you dont always have to volunteer the information - dont get on that bus with the half-truths.

At least for now - it is a legal and profitable career that many people choose.

If you go after a job that does a clearance check - it may depend on many factors. In some cases I've found that many of the more alternative activities, as long as they are not something that can be used"against" a person because they are hidden is a lot less of an issue.

FYI - you might be surprised at how many folks you may work along side that actually has done time in front or behind the cameras, the poles or the stage.
