I always wanted to try noodle kugel, and I recently found a very easy recipe at one of my favorite cooking sites Smitten Kitchen.Normally, I shy away from having full-fat, calorie laden things around my house for very long, so I decided to make it, try it out, and then bring it to work with me. i, of course, love noodle pudding. yum yum. my mom always made it with the wide egg noodles so that's how i always did too. until last year when in dhaka i couldn't find any noodles like that. i ended up using small, short, thin chinese egg noodles. OH MY GOD, the kugel tasted so much better. it was a bit denser and more like a deli-style kugel. it was so awesome.

I will try the thin egg noodles next time! I used the wide ones and I have to say that it was pretty outstanding. Better than I even imagined, since I had never had it before.
