Hey, I'm really confused about using the layouts.. Do I have to have a paid accout to be able to use them? Also, what do I do with the number [eg - #519121]. Is there a website I need to go to to put the number in? Sorry, I'm not good at this sort of stuff, I only know how to do overrides.

I no longer have a paid account. You'll have to put your username in where my is.

for example, the link to the finding nemo layout is
http://www.livejournal.com/customview.cgi?username=eclipses&styleid=458786

and you have to change it to
http://www.livejournal.com/customview.cgi?username=affirmative &styleid=458786
in order for it to work.

ETA: I've lost my paid account status, so in order to get the preview links to work, you'll have to change the bolded part of the preview link (which is my username, eclipses) into your own username (or any other paid account username).

no shit. i read that. and thats not what i meant. i meant when i use the style number none of them work i get an error, or it tells me i can use it, and it doesnt change on my page. so. ha.

Obviously you don't have a paid account. Only paid account users can use these styles. How you failed to realize that whe the community's userinfo page has it in big, bold lettering, I don't know. So. Ha.

Hello :) I've tried to explain how to do it to people before and they all end up giving me "O.o" faces. I'm not a good teacher :|
