I have never made it to THC, but I really want to this year if I can make the logistics work! Do you know of any supercheap places to stay in the area?

Meep. We have a conference rate at a hotel like a block away from the convention center, but that's like $109/night. http://trans-health.org/sleep

Also, Gunner is coming and presenting, so maybe you can shack up with him?

You could also try to get a room farther away and take the train in... Philly's subway is crap, but the regional rail is a lot like the Boston commuter rail. I don't know any particular hotels, though.
