Why is Physics part of Pre Med? I don't get it. Body mechanics?

Biophysics covers a bunch of stuff, from vision to hearing to radiology/NMR to electric potentials to the mechanics of joints... Physics is step 1 - med school will cover the rest.

Now that I think about it, organic chem is probably less useful than physics, unless you are planning a focus on pharmaceuticals.

And then again, scrap that, given how important biochemical processes are.

Hell, I don't know what the fuck I'm going to be doing in med school, so I'll shut up now.
