Yesterday we woke up at 5:30 am and left the apartment at 6:30 am and caught a 7:20 am train up to Ossining and walked along the Old Croton Aqueduct trail.

Here are the photos.

For anyone who feels the city doesn't always have enough "veg" to offer, I highly recommend this heavenly trek.

Things is good, all in all, on this end. (And, are you a Harry Potter fan? I'm about to start posting weekly installments of a post- H-B P story in my LJ.)

Very very cool walk. I'd be jealous if I wasn't so lazy about getting up at 5:30am and walking and stuff. And you're cute even when you are oddly pink.

The lamps picture ruled. RULED, I tell you!

Re. the lamps: I KNOW! WTF!
Re. the rest: Thanks, and I keep myself on a 6 am schedule through the weekend, otherwise I die on Mondays when work returns, so 5:30 wasn't so much of a stretch :)

Hey! I thought about you not too long ago. I was in Half Price Books and there was a NYC area trail guide. (The yellow covered kind. A Falcon Guide.) I thought "Gee, I should buy that and mail that to Pucette." But then I figured even if I did buy it I'd never get around to mailing it, so I didn't buy it or nuthin'.

But I thought of you for a minnit there.

Excellent! We really do need to get an area trail guide, before we possibly move away from the city :) Thanks for the thought - I'd have been mortified if you'd done more than think of it.
