What kind of medical condition do you think a sick passenger might have if he/she first delays the subway for 30 minutes, and then causes the subway to be taken out of order?

Sudden onset of compulsive homiciding?

Systematic organ explosion?

Dude, for 45 minutes of delay, you gotta give me some juice!

Hahaha, I think the same thing when I'm sitting in traffic unexpectedly.

Were you on the A train today or something?

First the train was delayed. Then it went local from 125th to 59th. Then it idled again.

Naturally, it was jam packed. Naturally, there was no A/C.

This is not a good way to start the morning.

When we got married (the first one, in Oregon) Christina's family came up from CA on Amtrak. They were something like 10 hours late because someone died on the train. The train had to stop in the middle of nowhere and wait for a coroner to arrive, shortly after which the train crew had reached their maximum allowable hours for continuous operation under Federal law and the train had to stop, again, and wait for a new crew to be brought in by bus.

I stand by my diagnosis: the person's head fell off.

Ebola would do it, if I remember The Hot Zone correctly. Although that might fall under "organ explosion".
