The Crue Review

Let me just start by saying that this morning I ordered myself a pair of these. It was absolutely the loudest concert I have ever attended. My ears are beyond ringing today. I'm very uncomfortable and hate to think about the hearing loss I sustained last night ( Read more... )

Fucking OW!! I think I'll order myself a pair too for the next round of shows I go to because the ones I had for the last Leppard show weren't quite that good at keeping the major noisyness down.

Glad you got your money's worth, though. I've been hearing good and bad things about this tour, I guess it depends on what night you saw them on. And a big thumbs up to Mick too, I hear the disease he has is a pretty nasty one.

Yeah, I've been meaning to buy a pair of those earplugs for literally months now. I guess it takes something like last night to get me to quit procrastinating and just do it.

Vince's voice is rough. Time has not been kind to that man in any way shape or form. They certainly aren't the seasoned musicians that Leppard are ... and I mean that in a totally unbiased way.

Yeah, I've heard that too. Joe might have a bad night off and on but supposedly 'ol Vince is having a bad tour. Of course, I think Vince and company did more drugs and drink than the Leppard boys, so...and Joe never screamed like Vince does. Well, he did, but he was trained in how to do it.

One big reason I avoid concerts generally is because I can still hear, and want to go on hearing! I'm glad you enjoyed the show, though.

Soft-core porn sounds fun, but contortionists seldom have decent racks. I prefer women built for comfort. :-)

Surprisingly enough, when I had my hearing tested about a year ago it was perfect ... but not after last night.

And you are right about the ladies on stage ... they weren't very well endowed ... but there were plenty of nicely gifted ladies in the audience who were very generous in showing their gifts. LOL

nah, earplugs, being on the rail at Mule shows might start to take it's toll.

Yesterday I heard that the version of Shout at the Devil that they did was some odd version that they did a long time ago and I am not even sure if it was put on an album or not. So we were not crazy, it was just a version we had never heard before.
