I just realized that it has been almost exactly 3 years since I posted anything on this site... good grief that's a lot of time. It's even longer when I consider what I've been through in that 3 years. Okay... for those who care, a bullet point break down

Wow that's a lot of stuff. Glad to hear you finished school, Arkansas is...quite a leap from NY, it sounds like you're adjusting though. I missed reading your plays :) And glad to hear about the guy, who knows where love will come from, eh?

Yeah, a lot has happened in the last three years. Teaching down here is surreal, but there's a lot of amazing things about it and I seem to be making an impact. This is the first time I've been the "cool" ANYTHING in high school haha. I'm still writing, but right now I'm working on a memoir about my first year teaching. The guy I'm dating was actually my New Year's kiss before I met Deb and started that whole adventure. We'd stayed friends and, obviously, nothing came of it until recently. It's kind of a funny story (in the completely schmaltzy rom-com way). He's being ridiculously supportive since the majority of our relationship thus far has been long distance. I'm going back home (to Idaho) over the summer and he asked me to stay with him... it's only two months, but still... makes me a little nervous. I don't exactly have the best track record with live-in romantic partners. He's flying down and driving back up with me.
