Following River's astute medical observation and the subsequent apprising of Lilly and Havelock, Puck is now trundling along in the company of and with support from his spouse and boyfriend. (River has been elected to proceed ahead of them and warn the infirmary staff that they're in for what might be the single weirdest pregnancy of their careers

"Your water isn't going to break, right? It's just the pink and the sparkles?"

Lilly is hovering less than helpfully at Puck's side.

"Because I really like these shoes. And- I don't even know where the water would come from, because you're a boy, and basically? World of ew."

"I hardly call his current hue 'just' anything," Havelock remarks dryly, as they make their wobbly way down the hall.

As to the water-breaking question, he remains silent. It really isn't his area of expertise.

Puck glowers Lillywards, skin flickering fuschia in irritation.

"I do not imagine there is-- ow-- much left to break, my own skin being excepted."

And doesn't that idea fill him with joy.

"Do say we've nearly arrived."

"At the infirmary? Nope."

Lilly pats one fuschia shoulder before reaching out and pressing a button set into the wall.

"But we are at the elevator, so at least you're going to get to skip the stairs."
