A little while later, the door swings open, and Havelock (glancing up, down and to both sides first out of habit) enters, slightly lighter on weaponry than usual.
While the room description had been slightly on the vague side, having never been inside this room before, Havelock had managed to deduce the location by the cunning method of asking Bar for directions.
He glances at the wall, and shrugs at the confirmation.
"All the mirrors," he says. "You certainly weren't wrong there."
"Ah," he says briskly, rising fluidly to his feet. "Hullo, darling. Was I not?"
He glances from side to side.
The mirrors are ... obviously there.
"Marvelous."
Puck crosses the floor with a particularly fluid gait, even for him, and smiles up at Havelock before hooking an arm 'round the back of his neck for a kiss.

His expression remains benignly tolerant, but he leans down to kiss Puck without hesitation, smiling just a little.

He steps back after a moment, smiling breathlessly, and releases Havelock's neck in favor of catching the edges of his sleeves between his fingertips.
(Just the edge. Any higher and one tends to run the risk of running afoul of one or more of Havelock's copious knives.)
"I thought," Puck says with gravity, "to beg a small boon of you."
