Havelock himself is fairly well used to things by now - and isn't unaware of their patterns of behaviour. But they suit him, at the moment, and if Puck is... twitchy, well, that's not really new.

He sits still and contemplative on the edge of the roof, leaning back on one hand and idly throwing and catching a knife in the other with startling disregard for whomever might pass below if he misses.

Puck probably shouldn't be so twitchy: he hears sex has a soothing effect on many creatures.

He watches Havelock with the knife; he has always loved to watch him. Now he's perched near the roof's edge, a posture that ought to be precarious but which, for him, isn't.

"I think I will have to go back to the city soon," he says after a long while, quiet but rather abrupt.

He's been thinkigng about it for a while, the necessity versus the difficulty. But it has to be done, and sooner rather than later.

"Will you come too?"

"Yes," he says at once.

Then he pauses, considering.

"Shall you bide there, and keep away from this place all the while?"
