In spite of all the obstacles put in our ways, somehow my friend and I managed to see the original version of Sweeney Todd today :)
Rejoice, the time of having to be afraid to spoil me are over. I have seen it all, beginning to end - and on the BIG SCREEN. Yay!
Here's what I thought, only minor spoilers for the spoiler-sensitive...

Glad you liked it - looking forward to seeing all that blood splutter even more now. Naive old foolish Judge, and puppy-eyed Anthony... Judge also puppy-eyed, on a second thought? *LOL*

Have been listening for the soundtrack for weeks... well, in three weeks' time a cinema in 40 kilometer's distance from where I live (just round the corner from where I work, though) will show it in English.

I will go and see it in German next week... "for women, my Lord, are week" :-)

Compared to Anthony the judge is not puppy-eyed at all. Or rather what the youth tries to give us as puppy eyes are just continually widened eyes. Guess he has not learned much more at acting school yet. Or Burton didn't want him to do anything else...
Yeah, you are weak, dear. Or very strong - if you can bear it in German... But as most of it is music, you will still get much English... But AR in German? Are you sure?
