Not really surprising

As pointed out by sue over at Claudia's: Alan Rickman also got a ticket for a Cohen concert.

Lucky man - he got to see Cohen and much earlier  than I. Of course, we all knew Alan had some good taste in music and poetry. And actually, is there anybody of ( Read more... )

For the Dublin-concert! And I so hoped he'd be at the London-concert, so that Elle (Hi there!) would meet him by chance.

*LOL*, I still think more people know Leonard Cohen than Alan Rickman... (of course they know Snape - but hardly anyone knows who the actor is.)

Argh, can you guys think of Cohen when going to a Cohen concert instead of stalking AR for a change?? ;)
Hope he remained relatively unbothered in Dublin. There are loads of concerts over there at the moment. Neil Diamond, Celine Dijon... I never liked Dublin but they sure know how to rock over there :)

I agree more people worldwide will know who Leonard Cohen is. I was referring to some hardcore AR fans who might want to see Cohen no matter whether they knew his music or not. Same as they would eat Marmite or HobNobs and declare striped jeans and too short ties the latest fashion. :)

Ah, I see you already noticed! I was pretty sure he'd attend at least one of his concerts.

Just be patient your time will come! *hands valerian pill*

Edit: I'd have absolutely loved to see Damien Rice as LC's opening act too!

I was quite sure about that too. Well done, AR.

And Damien Rice as an opening act would have been a treat indeed. Though as Leonard sang for three hours that must have been a late night for everyone indeed. Good that was a sitting concert ;)

Yes, I am very patient now. I just hope it will all work out fine. It is still unbeliavable to me that Cohen will visit a small town like Lörrach. (And probably be staying in the same hotel as I - if he does not prefer a trailer *lol* Although, as he still seems to have to deal with some annoying groupies, the hotel might be the safer option). I will try without the pill for the time being. In fact, at the moment I rather take the opposite (caffeine in form of cola).

Looks like you'll be needing the caffeine! :)

It does sound quite unbelievable to me too that he's playing a concert in Lörrach. Why in heaven's name Lörrach? Doesn't matter. You'll be there!

You mean this trailer?

Cool tour bus... :)

And erm... what happened to your morals all of a sudden? *rofl* Seems Bad Harry from Love Actually has been talking to you. ;) Anyway, if I meet Leonard for breakfast IN HIS TRAILER *cough* I will try to do my best for you - hahaaaaa.

Aww, come on. No one would book a Cohen ticket just because they liked and hoped to see AR. *LOL* I'm seeing the concert at O2. It's huge....couldn't make it to Dublin........ or else I would have. (Didn't know AR liked Cohen. )

Do not underestimate the measures some people would take just to meet AR. I have heard of worse... Glad you would never think of it though. :)
When will your concert be? Where the tickets very expensive? Have fun anyway!

I can imagine the efforts and determination some might go to *LOL* but the Cohen tickets were really expensive. (17th July) Dublin or Edinburgh would have been better I think as they are smaller venues. I WILL enjoy anyway.

Yeah, and I hope you will get your money's worth. Be kind to the man, so that he will get to Lörrach fighting fit a few days later... :)
