thailand is just nonstop incredible experiences. i'm in an internet cafe off of a noisy street in phuket. it's a little more touristy than i'd like, but its still thailand. plus, now there is english news on tv. i have no idea what's going on in the world right now. it makes me a little uncomfortable. i even missed the season finale of law and ( Read more... )

the instructor of the asian studies class i took at ball state u. organizes it. it's open to anyone though! there are people on this trip from IU, montreal, and florida. we're teaching english to college students. you only have to pay for the airline ticket ($900), and you get a stipend that's more than enough. i've only ended up spending $50 of my own money. dr. rugsaken's email: krugsake@bsu.edu. sign up for next year!

yeehaw! cody's in thailand! i'm glad you're having such a fun time.

moving away from everyone you once knew is so surreal.
i remember being in the 8th grade and making 10-year-long plans with all my buddies; being in the same school until gr 12, being in touch until we were all married etc.etc. and that same year i had to move to sharjah! ahaha, the irony.

wow thailand sounds like a blast! esp. because america's next top model wsa just there, omgomg. The law and order season finale was ok... not too exciting though scientology was a huge underlying theme! I hope your last two days are amazing and that you have a safe journey back!

don't worry about it! its a gift! a really easy gift at that. i haven't forgotten.

also, i will be at graduation. my parents would kill me if i didn't go too. the food is amazing but i would kill for some italian.
