I moved him out of that rubbermaid bin a while ago, and now he starts out the night in the pack'n'play. Then usually between 2 and 4 he wakes up to potty and I pull him in bed with me. This is fine except that he tends to stay latched on most of the night and unlatching him results in waking up, needing another trip to the potty, and then nursing ( Read more... )

How do you know if he needs to potty at night?

If he wakes up, it's always because he needs to pee. Very rarely will he sleep through it.

ahh, I see.

But how do YOU wake up before he actually pees?

I don't mean to pry, I'm curious. Jackson's diaper is always soaked in the morning, so he is peeing many times at night.

Oh! He'll start squirming and making some whimpery noises. I've got enough time to get him up and undressed and on the potty before he does it.
