I moved the guest queen size mattress into our room and made it a babysafe sleeping nest. It's not meant to contain him, just be safe for sleeping. I padded the walls with foam mats after the first night on the mattress when I heard him roll over and klunk his head into the wall. I kept the pack'n'play handy because it's still good for when I can

I want to do something like this in our room but Tim has put his foot down on altering our bed (its waaayyy to high for most types of cosleeping arrangements) in any way to accommodate cosleeping.
Right now the crib is shoved against my side so he doesn't fall out and i make that work as best as I can even though putting him back into the crib after nursing is difficult to do because its quite a drop down and I have to climb out the foot of the bed with him if I want to set him down in it without waking him up.
