The new arrangement

I moved the guest queen size mattress into our room and made it a babysafe sleeping nest. It's not meant to contain him, just be safe for sleeping. I padded the walls with foam mats after the first night on the mattress when I heard him roll over and klunk his head into the wall. love it!

I want to do something like this in our room but Tim has put his foot down on altering our bed (its waaayyy to high for most types of cosleeping arrangements) in any way to accommodate cosleeping.

Right now the crib is shoved against my side so he doesn't fall out and i make that work as best as I can even though putting him back into the crib after nursing is difficult to do because its quite a drop down and I have to climb out the foot of the bed with him if I want to set him down in it without waking him up.

It always seemed like it would be great to just have enough room to open the door, and then have the rest of the room be wall-to-wall bed.
