I'm alive... somewhat
Well, I don't feel like I'm going to die today which is a definate improvement over the past couple of days. I got a cough medicine with codein in it and I finally slept last night. I don't think I moved from the time I fell asleep to the time I woke up at 7:30 this morning. It was nice to be able to sleep like that ( Read more... ) -

Good Friday....
Dad took me to the doctor this morning because I'm not any better. If anything, I"m worse. I have a cold bordering on the flu. So, I'm on meds with strict instructions to come home and go to bed ( Read more... ) -
Another Update
Well, I got the call today from my mom's other brother. Uncle Bill called me at 230 to tell me that Uncle John had been unresponsive most of last night and into today. They're pretty sure it's his heart giving out, but just to be sure, they have started reducing his pain meds to see if he starts responding to people and things. I guess I'll know ( Read more... ) -
It's late...
It has been a horrible day. Forgive me for a moment while I rant...
This entire week has been horrible up to the point on Thursday where I spent two hours pouring my heart out to an Anglican priest who is a friend of the family's. Thursday night I finally managed to get some much needed sleep. Friday was long, almost unbearable. Saturday was okay ( Read more... ) -
