I had to cancel my trip to the 1000 Islands area because there were no spots left for whitewater rafting. So I didn't get to sleep in the lighthouse. At least it gave me the time to finish my roof

umm...do you know what part died? What kind of computer is it? If it's a Hard drive, I may have one that can be formatted and set up in that machine.

Geek Squad guy said it is likely the motherboard. A friend thought it might be internal power supply. It doesn't respond to being plugged in. No indicator light or anything. Tried other cords when I took it in to Best Buy, no response. It is a Gateway laptop.

Even though I'll have to charge it, I'm probably going to get a new computer before too long.
