There is a light at the end of the early 20's transitional tunnel. I felt like I was a complete mess until I was 23. Somewhere around that time something clicked and I got my professional life together. As far as my personal life, I'm still a complete mess, but I'm ok with that for now. Maybe I'll pull myself together on that front when I hit 27? :)
Ultimately, I think we're all constantly figuring out what we need at each stage of our lives. It never ends, but at least we get better at it. Life can be so exhausting sometimes.
i think that maybe (sort of definitely) we're always going to be transitioning. which ultimately is a good thing, yeah? we're like butterflies that are continually cycling, and in turn, growing. but hey, rumour has it that it gets easier on the heart & heard... and begins to feel less like stress and more like an adventure. (especially if you let it!)
xxo, r.
p.s.: if this is a world in which you can still meet a beautiful friend, with whom you have crazy amounts of things in common with, at a fabric store: i think it's still a decent world. and a pretty great life, after all. <3.<3..
The "early 20s transitional phase" will be over for you soon, and then you can look forward to (or dread) your mid-twenties transitional phase...if you have one.

Oh, and I saw the Wallace and Grommit movie FINALLY! Billy and I thought it was cute. Bunnies say, "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

While Dale (The Bunny Hater) won't admit it, I know he thought the bunnies were cute.
