Yes, yes.... I'm finally updating after a month. A lot has gone on since then, but I will try to keep it rather brief as I am really busy for the next few days

When I got pulled for DUI I blew a .08, back then only 2 states had .08 limits, one of them was VA. So had I been pulled in DC where I was hanging out I would have been fine. Totally ticked me off. Especailly because I had stayed at the bar for over an hour after close to make certain I was ok.
Blah. Sucks when you try to play by the rules but still get boned.
I was lucky I wasn't going faster as I usually do, but I was trying to follow the speed limit because it was late at night. However, coming out of Old Town on Rt. 1 they dropped the speed limit from 45 to 35, and I'm a creature of habit and didn't even bother to notice the new posted speed limit. Ha! Even when trying to follow the rules.
Did you actually get arrested and everything and have to jump through the same hoops I'm jumping through? Or were you luckier than me?
And now you will have all kinds of other goodeies to go along with it! I can't wait 'til you come to visit! Are you and Chris coming over tomorrow still to discuss traveling stuff? We were thinking around 3-4pm to begin....
We're still planning on coming over tomorrow. We'll give you guys a call tonight and work out the details. We'll make sure we bring our visas too so Billy can tell us what they really say.
Oooohh... Which Alexander Henry fabric is it? I have quite a few of his since I like them so much.
Bias piping is a huge pain in the ass and takes a bit of time, too. I try to avoid it everytime. Is it possible to use a ready-made (like Wright's) solid color piping to coordinate with one of the colors in the fabric? That's what I usually do. But! If you have to make it, it makes so much more sense when you're actually making it. I was terrified of it, but it actually worked when I did it. Just make sure you number the strips like they do in the picture to make the matching-up process much easier. I'm sure that you know for the piping itself, you just pick out the cording (any diameter you prefer) and wrap the bias tape around that, pin it, and sew it in with a zipper foot so it's nice and tight. I'm not sure which kind of directions you have for bias tape, but these are close to the ones I printed out years ago: here
Sorry if that last bit was insensitive, I read the rest of your post after commenting: damn my impulsivness. If you aren't in Moscow and you want to come with, I will be taking a cab myself, which I would be glad to share.
Hahha.... No, that wasn't insensitive at all. As a matter of fact, I thought it was pretty funny:P I wish I had time to celebrate, but I'm busy packing, getting last-minute stuff together, and then I fly out Sunday. Sorry! And I hope you have a good summer as I will be gone for about 2 months!

Ready made piping sounds like a dream, can I get it at Jo-Anns or Hobby Lobby?
