Ditto on the comment already posted about staining the floor/looking so much better.
Oh and congrat on the house, I really like the funky blue, it stands out well!!! And the kitchen is nice too!! I bet you'll love your home!

Wow, it never ceases to stop amazing my how house up northeast are so close together compared to houses in OK and TX.....

I can relate to how weird it was for me to see houses so close together... and to actually buy one. I think the reason why we did is because it's a different/new experience for us. People that we knew who grew up in rowhomes and in the cities think we are crazy for buying a house in the city-- we love it, though.
Thanks for the comment on the floors-- they were seriously a pain in the ass.
