It was horrible here yesterday, but no damage to our property thank goodness. There was torrential rain and the bypass was closed due to flooding (again) and all over North Wales there were roads closed due to trees down and/or floodwater. We did pretty well though as I just saw on Facebook that some parts of town are without electricity.
Today we went for a short walk and had to climb over and through several fallen trees on the Mawddach Trail, but all is now calm and the forecast for the coming week looks reasonable.
There was a such a strong wind blowing off the land - it was as if it were trying to blow the waves back out to sea, causing all sorts of strange effects...

I don't visit the beach as often as I used to when I had Max. But I still love walking there in wild weather...

Fingers crossed for a spell of dry and settled weather. We really do not need any more rain this month.

Love the water's edge close-ups.

Yes, I would not have wanted to be at sea yesterday. I can see why all the ferry operators cancelled their sailings.
The sea birds look so at home in that wild weather - the cormorants and the grebes just riding it out.
