I like the pier plaques.

And I admire your fortitude. When the temps fall below 40ª F, I stop going out. Which means I must resurrect my indoor exercise bike.

Daytime temperatures are still above 40F here, but the wind chill is no fun. On the bright side, at least it's not raining. 😊

I am now a bit chilly after joining you on this walk. The blowing Christmas decorations were what made me notice. I think I shall nudge the furnace up a degree or two.....

Heh!

That wind was cold. Definitely the wrong day to go walking in Swanage.

You're welcome.

Seaside towns out of season have their own melancholy charm.

On the eve of the New Year, I always look through my wall calendars in search of a suitable one for the next year. And most often, I find the right one, starting with the "right" day of the week. And we order calendars from our photos in a photo studio. And as a rule, they are better than those sold in stores. Have you tried making a calendar from your photos? There are so many excellent ones among them!

I did once create a calendar of my photos. But that was at the end of 2019. And in 2020 we went into lockdown, and every day was the same. The calendar was never consulted.

I don't dare create another calendar. ))

The find-a-cafe plank is genius.

Isn't it!

I wonder if the café owners in Swanage have planted this subliminal message all over the pier...
