what would you think of obama and gore running TOGETHER for 08?

So Gore would be vice president again? That'd be kind of hilarious. Though he probably misses his glory days of breaking tie votes in the Senate...

yeah, it would be pretty funny to see him as vice again.

but i honestly think that if gore was prez and obama was vice, they would be a very strong all star team...

your thoughts?

He's done some genuinely cool stuff, but Gore's too turgid and I don't think popular enough to run for President again.

Put Gore on the ballot and you're just begging the United States population to vote Republican. Forgetting his latest foray into crackpot science... the guy claims he invented the internet. He's about as much dead weight as Hillary Clinton.
I say Obama needs to keep his hands clean to win. The less baggage he has, the smoother his sailing will be.

No no no no no.

Gore is the darling of environmentalists, yes, but he didn't win last time and he's not going to win again. The Republicans are coming up with some incredibly strong candidates (McCain, for instance) and even if Gore wasn't boring in himself, everyone's bored of him (and by everyone I mean the people you need to sway in an election.)

And what's with relegating Obama to VP status?

I think for electability I like Obama/Edwards.

i was hoping to get more "core" reasons as to why people hate gore.... i wanted something more than he is just a wussy tree hugging dork.

and kip brings up another good "pair" what would you guys think of an Obama/Edwards campaign???
