You're completely right about the meals. I occasionally forego lunch and then end up nibbling all afternoon. Bad.

I'm about 160 lbs and am just over 5' which is really kinda bad.
I'm going to cycle round the woods everyday or every other day if we're being realistic. (about 15 mins hard, 20 mins easy)
I'm going to have bran cereal for breakfast. Try to give up my Diet Coke addiction. (apparently the caffeine makes you fatter-some crank said)
I'm also going to try as hard as possible to eat fruit and rice cakes for snacking. I had friends over last night and made cheese filled enchiladas, hot potato salad, roasted red onion salad & Toffee cake for afters. That is the last of that nonsense for a while. I'm also going to try have no more than 1 glass wine a night. Seemingly alcohol makes you fatter too!

Caffeine makes you fatter? That's one I'd not heard before. Hmm.

Now, alcohol, I can see. I've developed a taste for beer in the last two or three years - still only a couple or three pints a week, really, but it's enough.

there is nothing wrong with the piet and the diet coke.
the only wrong with them is aspertaime (sp?) and the fact that its pop and you should drink it.
BUT DIET POP IS A FAT KIDS BEST FRIEND AND I LUV THEM BOTH...OH PIET AND DIET COKE COME INTO MY OPEN ARMS....YUM!
keep drinkin them and luving them. you cant give up everything you know.

Well, I went food shopping today - Rich is working late all next week, so I'll be making my own dinners, which means lots of salad, possibly some lamb, or chicken cooked in the oven.

The one thing I've started doing is having cereal for breakfast, usually Special K, cos it helps me poo. And eating yoghurt when I'm hungry - I bought 16 yoghurts at Tesco (Muller Light are fat free, and 6 for £2.00!!)

I'm planning to walk each day too - it's kinda boring being home alone, you know? So I will post my (hopeful) successes and (definite) failures on here!

BTW - Joe? Good to have you back, give me a ring sometime? xxx

AND, you can freeze mullers into ice-pops. I don't like the yoghurt, but the cherry variety, frozen, is really good.
