Just don't go hungry! Keep your peaches and mandarins and bananas handy.

I don't believe in the not eating bread thing, so I'm going to cut down on my snackage, and try to eat more veggies. Will also try to have a bowl of cereal each morning. And will find time every day to walk around the village.

Walking, yes. I'm going to go for a 2 mile walk over lunch, and try to walk a mile or two every day. God knows I have the scenery for it.

I'm also hoping being off medication makes a difference, just because it can make a difference to some people.

And welcome to the pledge. =)

Herro. Just thought i'd jump in and add this : If you cut out white bread, pasta made with white flour, white rice, etc...and replace it with whole wheat or multi-grain bread, pasta, rice, et al, that not only helps burn fat, BUT is also very good for the heart.

And personally, I find that whole wheat or multi-grain is far tastier than plain bleached white flour.

Bacon sandwiches don't work on non-white bread. Sorry, man.

That's good advice, thanks. =)

Hiya, My plan is to just try not to be so bloody greedy. I've put on two stones in a year. I know I'm probably not going to lose it very quickly, but clearly the quantity of fatty foods I'm regularly eating is not helping the situation. I broke my leg quite badly last May and was in a full leg cast for about ten months but I'm not going to be able to use that as an excuse for my podginess for much longer.

trust me , no sugar in tea is poss. Yes, its an aquired taste but once acquired you can then try, say, jasmine tea (my favourite) with no milk either.Wot! no sugar OR milK??? Yep, it's even more an acquired taste but by the time you get to at that stage you will begin to see why my "tea diet" gives you the basis to get around the diet will power problem! Let me know if you want more infop.
